Electronic patient dossiers for Laux Lawyers AG

Last week, our employees had the pleasure of opening xsana EPDs for themselves.

Since 1 November 2021, XAD has started EPD operations as the largest common consortium in Switzerland. In the start-up phase, the xsana EPDs will continuously be rolled out with mobile opening points. In the course of 2022, a self-onboarding option will be offered to the public, where the digital identity and patient dossier can be opened independently and from home.

The electronic patient dossier (EPD) is a digital collection of treatment-relevant information relating to the health of Swiss citizens. Medical data can be viewed and stored online via the EPD. This means that important health information can be accessed at any time by authorised health professionals and auxiliaries. All information about the EPD can be found at www.patientendossier.ch.
